Clearwater, Florida, March 25, 2026 – hellocare.ai, a leading AI-assisted care delivery and intelligent hospital room platform, today announced the appointment of Terry D. Shaw, CEO Emeritus of AdventHealth, to its Board of Directors.

Shaw brings more than four decades of executive leadership experience at one of the largest health systems in the United States. As former President and Chief Executive Officer of AdventHealth, he led a nationwide organization with more than 55 hospital campuses and an extensive network of pre- and post-acute care facilities. During his 42-year tenure, he also served as Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Operations Officer, playing a pivotal role in scaling operations, strengthening financial performance, and driving enterprise transformation.
Under Shaw’s leadership, AdventHealth underwent significant transformation, unifying its brand and culture around a consumer focused, whole person care model, and expanding its continuum of care strategy. His ability to lead large, complex health systems through growth, innovation, and cultural alignment positions him uniquely to support hellocare.ai as it accelerates national and international expansion.
“We are honored to welcome Terry to our Board,” said Labinot Bytyqi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of hellocare.ai. “Terry is one of the most respected healthcare executives in the country. His leadership at scale, operational discipline, and deep understanding of care delivery transformation will be invaluable as we enter our next phase of hyper growth.”
hellocare.ai has rapidly expanded across leading health systems, delivering AI assisted Virtual Nursing and Telehealth, AI assisted Virtual Sitting, Intelligent Digital Whiteboards and Room Signs, Patient Engagement, and Hospital at Home solutions. With enterprise deployments spanning thousands of hospital rooms, the company is redefining how care is delivered inside the hospital and beyond.
“Terry understands what it takes to deploy innovation across every room, every campus, and every market,” said Bytyqi. “As we scale intelligent hospital rooms and AI driven care models nationwide, his experience guiding one of the most complex health systems in the country will help us build the right governance, operational rigor, and long-term strategy to sustain hyper growth.”
In addition to his tenure at AdventHealth, Shaw serves on multiple advisory and corporate boards, including HealthQuest Capital Advisory Board, Clearsense, Trustmark, and FaithSearch Partners. He has also held leadership roles within national healthcare policy and industry organizations.
“I am excited to join the Board of hellocare.ai at such a pivotal time,” said Shaw. “The company’s vision for AI assisted intelligent hospital rooms and enterprise virtual care delivery aligns with the direction healthcare must move. I look forward to supporting the team as they partner with health systems to improve safety, efficiency, and patient experience at scale.”
Shaw holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Central Florida and bachelor’s degrees in accounting and computer science from Southern Adventist University. In 2025, he received honorary doctorate degrees in Health Care Administration, Business Administration, and Public Health in recognition of his contributions to healthcare leadership.
